I have always wanted to make a dot room. Ever since I saw the one done by Wormy T, I knew I had to have one. So I picked up some material from WalMart and set out on the journey. Little did I know it would take 3 years to complete! Wormy warned me, but I didn't believe her. "It's only painting some shapes on some cloth, how long could it take?" I said to myself. Boy did I learn my lesson.
Needless to say, three years after I started this project, I am finally finishing it up. As you can see in the pics below, all I need to do is put the last bits of color to the white shapes on this panel. The rest is completed. The dot room is made of 4 wall panels that are roughly 8' tall by 10' wide with a ceiling panel that is 10'x10'. I plan to make a framework out of rigid electrical conduit with a 1/4" diameter. The pipes come in 10' lenghts from the store. I will join the pipe lengths together using electrical outlet boxes and screw in pipe clamps. More pics will be posted after I obtain the hardware. For now, here are a couple pics of a wall panel.
