This year has been a tough year for us here in Cleveland, OH. Due to a very tight budget and no extra cash to spend, we decided that we couldn't spend any amount of money for any new props, either store bought or home made. Instead, we decided to enhance the props we had already, or to make new props from items we had on hand or could get for free (or as close to free as possible). With that mantra in place, we set out to actually put epitaphs on our existing tombstones. Previous years were just the simple tombstone shapes painted grey. This year, we have words, black paint highlights, stress cracks, and even some with fake moss growing on them. They have already proven to be worth the effort from comments received by the people who walk and drive by.

New this year, are three new props that we made from scratch. One is a tribute to the great PumpkinRot himself. We also made some more paper mache' pumpkins, and a groundbreaker to replace the one that became missing last year. The tribute prop I have named "Rebirth" and can be seen on one of the tombstones. This is by far, my most favorite prop this year. It is a little hard to see the details on the skull from the street, but I think it is still pretty cool.

I hope you all have a safe and spooktackular Halloween season this year!
